Need to Notify us of an Incident?

At Dream Rides, the wellbeing of our passengers and drivers is our highest priority. Looking after each other’s safety is a shared responsibility.

It is a legal requirement that all drivers notify Dream Rides as soon as possible if a serious incident occurs during a booking that could affect the safety of anyone involved.

What is a Notifiable Occurrence?
You must notify Dream Rides if any of the following occur while providing a passenger service:

a. An injury requiring treatment by an ambulance officer or hospital.
b. A vehicle collision that prevents the journey from being completed.
c. A mechanical or other fault that prevents the vehicle from completing the journey.
d. An incident involving a driver, passenger, or intended passenger that leads to a police complaint, including allegations of sexual assault, indecent exposure, physical assault, threats, or intimidation.
e. A major offence charge involving the driver while operating the vehicle (only serious mechanical faults that prevent safe driving need to be reported).
