We operate two late 1950s Mercedes Benz 220S cars, affectionately known as “roundies” or PONTONS. These elegant cars always turn heads, generating smiles and “thumbs up” at every outing. We think PONTONS are beautiful from every angle and just perfect for wedding photos. The interiors also impress with classic 1950s styling – up to 3 adult passengers transported in complete comfort.
This is our sky blue 1959 PONTON (or “Bertie” within the family). These cars at their launch were meant to match the Jaguars, Bentleys and other high-end cars of their day. With their solid wood interiors, beautiful curvy lines and attention-grabbing profiles, we really do think these cars “bring on the smiles“.
For weddings you can expect:
o everything planned to go as smoothly as possible, with the cars arriving early and dedicated to your special day .
o as a given, white ribbons, onboard snacks & chilled drinks. Umbrellas and a pack covering possible last-minute eventualities (sewing kits, mints, etc) available at all times. We hope to have thought of everything.
o personalised service; we take the booking and drive the cars – so we’ll be there on the day!
